HOW TO GET TO DERRY CITY

 

FOOD TOUR FAQS

  • The Fork the Walls Tour explores iconic flavours within Derry’s historic city centre, focusing on traditional and modern local cuisine.
    The Fork the Foyle offers a mix of urban and scenic stops, crossing the Peace Bridge to highlight both sides of the River Foyle with a mix of street food, artisanal dishes, and craft beer with an emphasis local produce.

    • Fork the Foyle: 10:30AM - 2:30PM

    • Fork the Walls: 2:30PM - 5:30PM

  • Tours involve light walking in a group between venues, with a total distance of about 0.5m-1.5 miles. Comfortable shoes are recommended and we keep the pace leisurely.

  • The tour description includes a list of stops, along with details about the delicious food and drinks we expect to enjoy at each location

  • Yes, booking in advance is required to ensure availability, as group sizes are limited to enhance the experience.

  • The price includes all food and drink tastings, the guide’s expertise and any entry fees where applicable. You’ll also enjoy stories about Derry’s culinary history and culture.

  • To help us provide the best experience for your group, including well-prepared restaurants and enough knowledgeable tour guides, we kindly ask that you make your reservation through our online system. Thank you!

  • Yes, we can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice. Please let us know when booking and we’ll tailor tastings where possible.

  • Our tours run rain or shine. We recommend dressing for the weather and we’ll do our best to keep you dry during stops. Some locations are indoors or sheltered.

  • All tours serve alcohol and are not suitable for children.

  • Our tours are all about slowing down and tasting the landscape — through food, people, and stories. They’re designed for guests who appreciate:
